Clement Lavallard
Chief Executive - Charcot Capital (UK) LLP, Appointed Representative of Trinity Group
Clement has 15 years experience in investment banking advising on disposals, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, LBOs, takeover and takeover defense as well as PIPES and restructurings and other complex transactions requiring financial skill and strong project management. Notable transactions include the takeover defense and sale of Mannesmann to Vodafone, the privatization of Maroc Telecom, the public takeover of Filofax and the contested takeover of Queensland Cotton.
Clement set up London-based Charcot Capital in summer 2008 to focus on longstanding clients. Charcot Capital’s objective is to focus on corporate finance advice before starting special situations investment funds.
Prior to founding Charcot Capital Clement had been part of the founding team of a privately owned investment banking firm based in London which has since grown to over 100 employees in alternative asset management and in greenhouse gases abatement and clean energy investment with the backing of Citigroup, AIG, Black River and a Middle Eastern Sovereign Investment Fund. Prior to that Clement had been a Vice President at JPMorgan, and an associate at Wasserstein Perella.
Clement is a graduate of Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris and is an FSA Approved Person.
