Trinity Group Limited
Trinity Group Limited ("Trinity") is a private investment banking firm established in 1996. Trinity was founded by Edward M. Frazer and Ford M. Fraker, experienced investment bankers who worked together during the early 1990s.
Sir Ian McGregor, who was successively Chairman of British Steel and British Coal, was Trinity’s first Chairman until his death in 1998.
Ford Fraker, who was one of the Founders of Trinity and its Chairman until March 2007, was nominated by the White House and confirmed by the United States Senate on 30th March 2007 to be the new United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prior to founding Trinity in 1996, Ford had been with Chemical Bank in Beirut before becoming Vice President and Regional Manager for them in Dubai from 1974 to 1979. After that he joined the Saudi International Bank in London, a J.P. Morgan Affiliate, where he was Chairman of their Credit Policy Committee and a Member of their Management Committee.
Since its inception, Trinity Group has placed investment products (both those created by itself and on behalf of third parties) aggregating in excess of US$3 billion. Trinity’s well established client base is composed primarily of institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East.
Currently Trinity Group’s major product lines include:
- Alternative Assets – fund raising and product development
- Corporate Finance – advisory and deal structuring services
- Fixed Income & Credit Derivatives – origination and distribution of various debt products.
Trinity is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
